Alix Boulud-Hutkin
Founder

Alix Boulud-Hutkin is a Career Consultant with over 15 years of combined experience in the fields of strategic communications, intelligence & investigations, and business development. In addition to Villeneuve, Alix serves as the Chief Child Development Officer to her twin toddlers–which has been, by far, her most challenging job to date as she tries her best to keep up with her exigent and demanding "tiny bosses."

Alix decided to become a career consultant after going through the life-altering experience of having to leave the workforce to care for her medically-complex twins during a long and difficult postpartum journey. Having come out of this challenging season feeling stronger and more empowered (thanks to robust community supports and coaching), Alix is dedicated to applying her knowledge and experiences to help empower others to thrive in the next chapter of their life and careers—with confidence and clarity.

During her career, which has spanned both the private and public sectors, Alix reported to the highest levels of leadership at organizations such as Laurel Strategies (strategic communications and reputation management firm), TD International (intelligence firm), LVMH (Louis Vuitton | Moët Hennessy), and the US Air Force Auxiliary.

Prior to founding Villeneuve, Alix served as Senior Director at the strategic communications firm Laurel Strategies, where she specialized in digital reputation enhancement programs and thought leadership campaigns for both private individuals and global organizations.

Alix also held a variety of business development roles during her 5-year tenure at TD International, a HUMINT-focused intelligence & investigations firm, where she oversaw the creation of high-quality intelligence reports and grew the firm's litigation support practice.

Earlier in Alix's career, she worked as an anti-money laundering analyst at K2 Intelligence, a business development lead at the silicon-valley startup Flipboard, a technology consultant to the Chairman of LVMH Asia, and a financial analyst based in Singapore for LVMH's private equity fund.

She learned to drive stick at the tender age of 18 during an internship working in Ferrari's factory in Maranello, Italy, on the local testing racetrack in the bare chassis of the very first Ferrari California to come off the production line. To this day, her loving husband questions the thoroughness of Alix's Driver's Ed, and hopes that one day she will stop treating the family minivan like it's a sports vehicle.

Alix holds an MBA, a BA in Political Science, and numerous professional certifications spanning the fields of negotiations & influence, career coaching, law enforcement, and emergency services/advocacy.

Alix is natively fluent in French & English, proficient in Italian, and has completed prior studies in Japanese, Arabic, Spanish, and Greek.

Alix is also a graduate of the San Francisco Police Academy's reserve Police Officer certification program, where her penchant for insatiable curiosity led her to receive a demerit for "asking too many questions the instructors don't have answers to." A decade later, Alix still patiently awaits the answer to her burning question: how do we handcuff a one-armed person?

Alix is deeply passionate about serving her community, and currently volunteers as a Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for foster children experiencing abuse or neglect.

Prior to this, Alix served as 1st Lieutenant and Diversity Officer for the US Air Force Auxiliary, where she participated in Emergency Services and Homeland Security missions and became a certified Inspector General. For her efforts authoring a groundbreaking DE+I report during her tenure, Alix received several awards and special commendations by the National Commander.

Alix is a lecturer at local universities and professional associations in St. Louis, MO; where she teaches career-building skills, career pivot strategies, and resume-writing workshops.

She lives in St. Louis, MO with her husband, two children, dog Bailey, and their minivan (with the soul of a Ferrari California).

Alix's experience includes:

"Success is more than just climbing the corporate ladder—it's about building self-confidence and ensuring your brand reflects your true value. Your professional image is your most valuable asset, and it shines brightest when you have a story that resonates and inspires."
